Finance Director

Key Responsibilities
1. Finance Operations
- Deliver monthly management accounts, P&L reporting, cash flow forecasts, and reconciliations
- Lead the budgeting process and maintain a rolling 3-year forecast
- Oversee purchase ledger, sales ledger, payroll, and bonus calculations
- Ensure financial compliance and reporting to HMRC, banking partners, and auditors
- Maintain strong internal controls and scalable financial processes
2. Strategic Development
- Take increasing ownership of the monthly Board Pack – structure, commentary, insights
- Overall responsibility of monthly scorecards & Bullhorn analytics reporting
- Define and drive better MI across the business — starting with key commercial and performance metrics
- Work with internal or external partners to implement Power BI/Amazon Quicksights dashboards that align with our KPIs
- Sit on the Board and contribute to investment decisions and growth planning
- Allocate structured time away from BAU for commercial project work (CEO & COO to support this transition)
3. Governance & Commercial Projects
- Chair monthly risk committee (insurance, legal terms, compliance)
- Lead ad hoc projects – EMI scheme, U.S. visa costings, internal contract book financing
- Support preparation for future commercial events (e.g., investment or fundraising)

Level of Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or master's degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related field
- Several years of experience in a business or finance environment
- Experience working in a scaling business.
